family portraits: le family

Despite extended days (sometimes weeks) of constant overcast and no sight of the sun, the pacific northwest still manages to be a little magical. I mean, obviously it’s bonkers beautiful during the summer, but there’s still something undeniably lovely about it even in its darkest days.

I had the pleasure of capturing some of that PNW essence for the Le family this weekend —Washington natives and UW sweethearts with the sweetest camera lovin’ daughter. Over the years, I’ve developed such a love for photographing small kids. It’s fascinating to watch their curious minds wander, explore, and learn. Avery (as seen below), was mimicking us the whole time. Soaking up all our mannerisms like a sponge. And of course staring down Andy — because he has that weird effect on children, haha.
